Volunteers Make Whitby Sea Cadets Possible

Volunteers are an important part of Whitby Sea Cadets. Their time, support, and dedication help create a strong program where cadets can build confidence, leadership, teamwork, discipline, and community spirit.

Whether helping once in a while or on a regular basis, every volunteer makes a difference.

How Volunteers Help

There are many ways to support the program, including:

• Helping during weekly training nights

• Supporting fundraising activities

• Assisting with parades, ceremonies, and special events

• Helping with administration, communication, and planning

• Coordinating transportation, food, and event logistics

• Organizing equipment, uniforms, and supplies

• Sharing professional skills or community connections

No cadet or military experience is required for many volunteer roles. Parents, guardians, former cadets, family members, local businesses, and community supporters are all welcome to get involved.
